It Operations Specialist (12 Month Contract)

This role is for an IT Operations Specialist responsible for providing primary IT support to the UK Cohere office and global employees during their shift. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, training employees on tools, managing IT equipment inventory, overseeing networking and AV requirements, and documenting IT procedures. The role requires experience with Mac, Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, scripting languages, cybersecurity best practices, and networking concepts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be the primary support point of contact for the UK Cohere office
  2. Provide first response for all IT support requests for all Cohere employees globally during your shift
  3. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems, and provide employee training on our tools and systems (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion etc.)
  4. Work in tandem with our People Ops team to help onboard and offboard employees seamlessly.
  5. Order and track laptop shipments globally, going to all new hires
