This role is for an IT Operations & Asset Specialist in Singapore, responsible for onsite IT support and managing the IT asset lifecycle. It involves handling employee incidents, office technology, asset procurement, tracking, disposal, inventory audits, and logistics. The role also requires utilizing Generative AI tools for administrative tasks and trend analysis, and partnering with Finance, Security, and vendors. A key aspect is ensuring a reliable technology experience for local employees while participating in a global team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Onsite Resource: Act as the primary onsite support resource, responding to employee incidents and hardware/software requests.
  2. Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end IT asset lifecycle, from procurement schedules to secure disposal or recycling.
  3. Inventory & Audits: Conduct regular physical audits and inventories to ensure 100% data accuracy and policy compliance.
  4. Logistics & Shipping: Handle all shipping and receiving, managing the secure movement of assets between global locations.
  5. AI Integration: Utilize Generative AI tools to automate repetitive administrative tasks and analyze inventory trends.

Skills

Required

  • Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or IT asset management, specifically handling high volumes of orders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills for common hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel); familiarity with Zoom and Google Meet.
  • General experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot) to streamline workflows.
  • Understanding of hardware/software licensing, warranties, and asset tracking practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for vendor negotiation and internal collaboration.
  • High attention to detail to ensure 100% policy compliance.

Nice to have

  • ITIL 4 Foundation, CompTIA A+, Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
  • Experience with Jira Service Management, JAMF, Intune, or Oomnitza.
