This role is for an IT Specialist in Intercom's new Berlin office. The IT Operations team supports employees with hardware, software, and third-party tools, managing user access, provisioning, and security. The role involves providing help desk support, owning account provisioning/deprovisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining the application stack. It requires extensive work with Jamf, Okta, Intune, Jira, and GitHub, as well as basic scripting and automation. The company emphasizes delivering a five-star IT experience and uses AI tools internally.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide help desk support to internal employees.
  2. Own account provisioning and deprovisioning, onboarding and offboarding processes and the maintenance of our application stack and integrations.
  3. Work extensively with Jamf, Okta, Intune, Jira and GitHub, contributing ideas for management, organisation and basic troubleshooting.
  4. Maintain and enrich our knowledge base with documentation to support end users and enhance our AI-driven help desk.
  5. User hardware setup and provisioning - Apple, Windows etc.
