This IT Specialist role focuses on maintaining and evolving BCG's internal IT infrastructure, including providing on-site technology support, managing devices, supporting cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure AD), troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining AV systems. The role involves using ticketing systems, analyzing issues for improvement, and collaborating with IT teams. A forward-looking perspective includes leveraging scripting, automation, and AI tools for operational efficiency, with desirable experience in cloud infrastructure and AI tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Providing a high level of customer service through on-site technology support in both home and office environments, over a variety of platforms (e.g. PC, Mac, iOS, Android, etc.)
  2. Supporting the BCG user community by providing tailored solutions for their technology while on-site in BCG offices, at client locations and at special events.
  3. Manage the lifecycle of laptops, mobile devices, and endpoint equipment
  4. Support and operate Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and related cloud services
  5. Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, and Mobile networking issues

Skills

Required

  • PC/laptop hardware, software, telecommunications, mobile devices, networking, and server administration
  • Troubleshooting skills across Windows and/or macOS environments
  • LAN and TCP/IP networking
