It Support Technician Intern

This is an IT Support Technician Intern role at Datadog, focusing on managing internal tools, systems, and services. The intern will provide customer service and technical support to employees, assist with onboarding/offboarding, manage SaaS applications, and maintain internal infrastructure. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, supporting hardware and software, and contributing to documentation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Learn and assist in providing customer service and technical support for our employees
  2. Shadow and support laptop deployment as part of onboarding and refresh cycles
  3. Participate in new hire orientations to understand policies, best practices and services used within Datadog
  4. Assist with general ticketing, account management, and basic troubleshooting under supervision
  5. Help maintain hardware and software inventory

Skills

Required

  • targeting a 2027 full-time start date
  • degree in IT, Communications, or a related field; or have equivalent experience
  • basic understanding of computer hardware and software
  • Familiarity with macOS, iOS, or other Apple devices
  • Basic knowledge of Google Workspace or other SaaS applications
  • available to work full-time from the Datadog Boston office
