What you'd actually do

  1. Support staffing strategy and requisition planning in collaboration with hiring teams.
  2. Conduct candidate selection, conduct interviews, and approve hiring decisions.
  3. Manage career development, goal-setting, performance reviews, and merit planning for direct reports.
  4. Provide mentorship, guidance, and discipline when needed, to support team growth and performance.
  5. Lead engineering teams in the design, integration, and maintenance of enterprise-level cyber systems.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 4 years of experience, or 10 years of progressive related experience would be considered with a High School Diploma.
  • 1+ year of experience leading technical projects or teams with schedule accountability.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a government TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise architectures including Windows Server, RHEL, virtualization, and storage technologies.
  • Working knowledge of containerization, automation, and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
  • Hands-on experience with networking technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, and Ciena.
  • Ability to create and interpret network architecture and configuration diagrams using commercial tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with DevSecOps principles.
  • Prior success in recruiting and developing engineering teams.
  • Broad technical background across IT/OT, software development, CI/CD, Containerization, and Cyber Security.
  • Proven ability to represent organizational capabilities to customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience with U.S. Government contracts or defense systems.
  • Advanced degree (M.S., M.B.A., or related).
  • Active Top Secret clearance strongly preferred.
