Journeyman Automotive Technician - Cdl Required

UPS is seeking a Journeyman Automotive Technician with a CDL to maintain a diverse range of fleet vehicles, including those with alternative fuel systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining various vehicle systems, meeting DOT requirements, and operating tools and equipment. Requires 7 years of mechanic experience and a Class A/B CDL.

What you'd actually do

  1. Meets D.O.T requirements and CDL qualifications required by job assignment
  2. Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday
  3. Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday
  4. Exercises simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks
  5. Operates standard and manual transmission

Required

  • active driver’s license
  • Class A/B or A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • 21 years or older
  • Monday to Friday, 4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. availability
