What you'd actually do

  1. Primary assignment is in the Maintenance Department – Electrical, performing activities and tasks associated with the corrective maintenance and construction of designated buildings within the Bacchus plant.
  2. Able to understand and troubleshoot from electrical / instrumentation schematics
  3. Able to troubleshoot and repair typical industrial electrical equipment/perform maintenance on robotics, air compressors, electrical generators, DC & AC motor controllers, overhead cranes, hydraulics, pneumatics, camera systems, security systems, etc.
  4. Able to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on industrial refrigeration systems.
  5. Able to install raceways, enclosures, lighting systems, wiring systems/devices, motors, pumps, and related industrial electrical equipment.

Skills

Required

  • State approved electrical apprenticeship or 2 year associates degrees in Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics /HVAC
  • 5 years industrial or heavy commercial installation and troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation schematics
  • Troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical equipment (robotics, generators, motor controllers, cranes, etc.)
  • Installation of electrical systems (raceways, enclosures, lighting, wiring, motors, pumps)
  • Ability to work shift work
  • Ability to pass physical requirements for working with explosives
