Develops and maintains tools for creature rigging and simulation in a film production environment. Supports technical directors and animators, troubleshoots pipeline issues, and performs entry-level shot work and rigging.

What you'd actually do

  1. Offer day-to-day show support for Creature Technical Directors & Animators under mentorship of Leads, Supervisors, and the Head of Department (HOD)
  2. Analyze and optimize rigs/sim set-ups
  3. Assist show Supervisors with quality control/prep
  4. Troubleshoot creature pipeline issues for artists in other disciplines
  5. Entry level shot work and rigging
  6. Create and maintain documentation for show-specific processes and principles
