Junior Deal Desk Analyst

This role is for a Junior Deal Desk Analyst at Iterable, an AI-powered customer engagement platform. The analyst will be responsible for reviewing, structuring, evaluating, approving, and closing company contracts to ensure alignment with business, legal, and finance requirements, calculating margins, enforcing best practices, and supporting sales with quote and order form creation. The role requires experience in Revenue Operations and CRM (Salesforce.com), attention to detail, collaboration skills, and a willingness to learn. Bonus points for Deal Desk, CPQ, or email marketing software experience. The role is a 6-month contract position.

What you'd actually do

  1. Review pricing and contract structure to ensure alignment with business, legal, and finance requirements
  2. Calculate margins on deals to ensure each opportunity is meeting gross margin targets
  3. Enforce best practices for the quoting process, pricing guidelines, and overall Deal Desk processes
  4. Escalate approvals to the appropriate business partners and functions for review and approval
  5. Help support sales with quote and order form creation, including making edits inside of the CPQ system and manually updating order forms
