What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze financial transactions and supporting documentation to determine appropriate proprietary and budgetary accounting treatment and GL impact.
  2. Prepare, validate, and post journal entries and related reconciliations to support quarter-end and year-end close cycles.
  3. Support the development and delivery of governmental financial reporting in alignment with OMB A-136 and internal reporting requirements.
  4. Execute controls and documentation activities consistent with OMB A-123 and established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  5. Follow SOPs and accounting policies to ensure entries are complete, accurate, timely, and audit-ready.

Skills
