This role is for a Junior Product Specialist in Pharmaceutical Sales for Johnson & Johnson in Cairo, Egypt. The primary responsibility is to represent the company's products to healthcare professionals, drive patient access, and achieve sales targets. The role involves promoting registered products, engaging with healthcare professionals through various channels, managing accounts, and maintaining knowledge of disease areas and products. Compliance with company policies and local regulations is critical. This is an entry-level position with no prior experience required, focusing on sales and product promotion within the healthcare domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maximize patient share through strong understanding of the patient pathway and by ensuring all sales processes align with J&J compliance, quality standards, and local regulations.
  2. Achieve territory sales and market share targets.
  3. Use a multichannel approach (F2F visits, email, phone calls, presentations, etc.) to engage HCPs with the required quality and quantity in alignment with BU strategy.
  4. Conduct comprehensive account mapping, including listing processes, logistics, contracting, stakeholder mapping, and decision making pathways.
  5. Maintain updated knowledge of disease areas, competitive landscape, and Janssen IBD/Immunology products.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, or a closely related discipline
  • Strong adherence to Credo values and J&J leadership imperatives
  • High awareness of all business factors affecting the territory and proactive reporting of any risks
  • Strong analytical thinking, urgency, discipline, and ability to act on business opportunities
  • Collaborative team mindset and competitive drive within compliance boundaries
