Key Account Manager responsible for managing a therapy area, increasing product awareness, answering customer queries, and introducing new products. This role involves reaching out to customers, understanding their needs, and driving prescription sales through effective communication and relationship management with medical practitioners, chemists, and wholesalers. The position also requires achieving sales targets, planning and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, participating in meetings, and providing guidance to team members. A strong understanding of company products, therapy areas, and competitor products is essential.

What you'd actually do

  1. Efficiently manage the therapy area by effectively reaching out to customers and increases product awareness, answer queries and introduce new products.
  2. Customer Focus and have industry knowledge and schedule and plan the frequency of calls and personally visit the targeted doctors as per agreed coverage list.
  3. Achieve and exceed the sales targets on a consistent basis through effective implementation of the sales promotion strategies and follow-up initiatives.
  4. Tactically plans to generate tertiary demand generation
  5. To nurture strategic relationships with top accounts, so a KAM must possess an in-depth knowledge of the company and its customers.
