This role is for a Key Account Director responsible for managing and expanding revenue within strategic, high-value accounts. The KAE will act as a business strategist, developing account plans, driving expansion opportunities, managing complex negotiations, and leading cross-functional account teams. The role involves engaging with customer C-suite and influencing the product roadmap based on customer needs, with a focus on leveraging Okta's portfolio including AI offerings.

What you'd actually do

  1. Consistently exceed revenue targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing complex, multi-million dollar expansion opportunities (up-sells and cross-sells) within the assigned portfolio.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive, multi-year strategic account plans that map executive relationships, solution alignment, and maximizing the long term value for each assigned top account.
  3. Accurately forecast revenue and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, providing clear visibility into potential revenue and risk to executive leadership.
  4. Expertly manage highly complex contract negotiations and renewals, involving internal Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams.
  5. Lead through leveraging our entire product portfolio of offerings (Okta, Auth0 and AI), acting as both visionary and influencer without authority.
