Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. Public Relations and KOL strategy to boost Pico’s brand authority in the XR (Extended Reality) market.
- Relationship Management: Proactively build and maintain a "gold-standard" network of tech journalists, industry analysts, and influential VR/AR content creators.
- Content Creation: Draft high-impact press releases, thought-leadership pieces for executives, and creative briefs for influencer collaborations.
- Crisis & Reputation Management: Serve as the first line of defense in managing public sentiment; develop rapid-response protocols for hardware launches or software bugs.
- Performance Analytics: Monitor media "Share of Voice" (SOV) and analyze the ROI of influencer campaigns to refine future outreach strategies.
- Cross-Functional Sync: Work closely with the Global Marketing and Product teams to ensure U.S. messaging aligns with technical roadmaps.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Public Relations, preferably within the consumer electronics, gaming, or high-tech sectors.
- Track record of placing stories in top-tier U.S. tech publications (e.g., The Verge, Wired, CNET) and managing long-term influencer partnerships.
- Copywriting skills with the ability to translate complex technical specs (like FOV, refresh rates, or chipset performance) into compelling narratives.
- Experience navigating brand-sensitive issues in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Ability to work independently in a satellite office while maintaining seamless communication with a global headquarters.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep passion for VR/AR and the "Metaverse" ecosystem.
- Experience working for a global company with headquarters in Asia (understanding the cross-cultural workflow).
