This role is for a Keyholder/Customer Experience Specialist at Nordstrom, focusing on providing excellent customer service in a retail environment. Responsibilities include engaging with customers, understanding their needs, processing merchandise, supporting in-store events, and performing light cleaning duties. It requires ownership, adaptability, and basic tech skills. The role is not AI-related.

What you'd actually do

  1. Welcome customers by being an effective storyteller and skilled at engaging with diverse audiences
  2. Quickly understand a customer’s needs; with an emphasis on connecting customer to a service such as Online Order Pickup, Alterations, Styling, Returns, Gift Wrapping, etc.
  3. Communicate with customers in a professional manner including but not limited to; answering phones; communication via email, providing feedback on trend, fit and style etc.
  4. Understand and support of back of house processes, including inventory management and assisting with maintaining organization, cleanliness and more
  5. Support event execution – point of contact for RSVPs, track customer contact information, door greeter etc.
