This role focuses on the design, release, validation, and launch of vehicle labels, including fuel economy and compliance labels, ensuring adherence to governmental and legal requirements within the automotive industry. It involves managing component development, supplier interactions, and cross-functional team collaboration.

What you'd actually do

  1. To lead Design, Release, Validation, and Launch of all unique labels for new model vehicle programs.
  2. For all phases of engineering and integration - design concept, production release, validation, product launch.
  3. To map Monroney Label Fuel Economy and Compliance Labels Process Flow
  4. To conduct Design validation process (DV/ PV) with reports for compliance
  5. For program launches with onsite support

Skills

Required

  • Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology, Engineering Technology, or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ Years experience Automotive Setting
  • Design and release experience
  • REG labels integration experience

Nice to have

  • Experience in Ford WERS/FEDEBOM/AIMS/FEDEDVP/GPDS/Integrator systems desired
  • Ability to build strong effective relationships with cross-functional teams (Program, ASO Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing
  • Outstanding communication skills (open, clear and inclusive) up to senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload managing immediate and future needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple issues effectively and efficiently
