Netflix is seeking a Language Producer for Content Localization in the Benelux/Nordics region for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role focuses on ensuring the highest quality localized assets for dubbing, subtitling, titles, and marketing materials, balancing creative intent with cultural authenticity. The role involves direct title coverage (40%) and strategic market/talent development (60%), including workflow innovation, vendor management, and building a talent pipeline. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in content localization, linguistic expertise, and a strong understanding of localization workflows and tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establish and maintain creative and quality standards and guidelines for localized content in your assigned language(s), supporting consistency across dubbing, subtitling, main/episodic titles, accessibility, and marketing assets.
  2. Develop and implement language strategies that prioritize localization efforts based on business impact and creative requirements.
  3. Monitor language performance metrics and emerging linguistic trends, and proactively identify and address quality or consistency opportunities.
  4. Partner with Content Localization Title Producers, Product Localization, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to align on localization strategy, execution, and creative direction for your language(s).
  5. Represent language-specific needs and perspectives in cross-team initiatives, integration projects, and support for emerging media types.
