Large Merchant Sales Intern

This is an internship role focused on supporting the Large Merchant Sales team at PayPal. The intern will assist in selling PayPal's payment products to large merchants by providing market and customer insights, conducting market analysis, and preparing sales presentations. The role requires an analytic background, understanding of sales reporting and analytics, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Responsibilities include supporting strategic initiatives, conducting industry research, translating business questions into data analyses, delivering reports, preparing client presentations, facilitating merchant onboarding, and maintaining sales pipeline integrity. The role emphasizes learning, organization, and collaboration within a fast-paced sales environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the Sales team in driving strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, resolving challenges, and identifying growth opportunities.
  2. Conduct industry and market research to identify new business opportunities and support the development of initiatives that enhance portfolio growth, with specific focus on Travel, Groceries and High-Risk verticals
  3. Translate business questions into data analyses, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making and growth strategies.
  4. Deliver regular reporting and communications, including contributions to newsletters and performance updates, leveraging key metrics and visualizations.
  5. Prepare materials and data for client presentations, meetings, and business cases to support commercial discussions.
