Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Commercial Education Manager for their DePuy Synthes division in LATAM. This role is responsible for defining and leading the regional commercial education strategy, focusing on clinical selling skills and strategic/value-based selling for direct and distributor models. The manager will lead a team, ensure alignment with commercial priorities, partner with cross-functional teams, and oversee the measurement of education effectiveness. The role requires experience in commercial roles, sales enablement, training, and understanding of commercial models, with a preference for experience in regulated healthcare environments and digital/robotics technology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and own the LATAM Commercial Education strategy, integrating clinical selling skills and strategic selling capabilities across direct sales and distributor-led models, aligned with commercial priorities and portfolio strategies.
  2. Lead and develop the regional Commercial Education organization; set clear priorities, ensure role clarity, and build a strong talent pipeline.
  3. Ensure integration and consistency across skill domains and GTM models, aligning clinical fluency, strategic selling methodologies, and field reinforcement into a cohesive capability-building framework.
  4. Partner closely with Commercial leadership, Marketing, Product, Professional Education, and Launch Excellence to ensure education strategies support new product introductions, platform adoption, and commercial execution across channels.
  5. Oversee measurement of commercial education effectiveness, leveraging insights, diagnostics, and performance metrics to continuously improve capability impact across sales teams and distributors.

Skills

Required

  • 5–7 years of experience in commercial roles, sales enablement, training, education, or related functions within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven people-leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of direct and distributor-based commercial models, including the different capability needs of each.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical selling environments and strategic / value‑based selling methodologies.
  • Ability to translate commercial strategy into effective capability‑building programs across diverse markets and channels.
  • Experience partnering with commercial leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience using data and insights to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Experience working across multiple countries or cultures within a regional structure.
  • Spanish (or Portuguese) and English proficiency required for regional and global collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience in medical devices, orthopedics, or other regulated healthcare environments.
  • Exposure to digital surgery, robotics, or integrated technology platforms.
  • Experience working across multiple markets or geographies within a regional structure.
