Lead, Account Solution Engineer - Federal Civilian

Salesforce is seeking an Account Solution Engineer for their Public Sector business unit, focusing on PaaS and SaaS cloud solutions that meet federal standards like NIST and FedRAMP. The role involves presenting product offerings, designing and demonstrating solutions, and removing technical objections in the sales cycle. Prior experience with CRM technology and enterprise selling is highly desirable. The role requires understanding customer goals, mapping them to Salesforce products, and participating in training and certifications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Understand customer goals and challenges and map those back to the Salesforce product portfolio
  2. Design, build, and demonstrate innovative solutions to address these challenges
  3. Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with hardware, software, networking and security stack
  4. Participate in all appropriate product, sales, technical training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
  5. Attain quarterly and annual objectives defined collaboratively with management
