Lead Clinical Data Analyst role focused on coordinating timelines and resources for clinical systems and managing clinical study databases. Responsibilities include defining data standards, supporting system deliverables, managing vendor activities, developing project management plans for trial execution, and leading deployment of systems like IxRS, EDC, CTMS, and eTMF. The role also involves mentoring peers, interfacing with R&D, IT, and Quality, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with Data Management leadership (including Programming and Biostatistics) to define and document data and process standards
  2. Provide in-house project support for creation, routing and approval of all system deliverables associated with clinical systems
  3. Support the development and maintenance of global harmonized processes and procedures for system support
  4. Support vendor evaluation, selection, contracting, and oversight activities for outsourced systems; Assist with vendor evaluation and selection activities for clinical systems
  5. Work with BSDM partners, and leadership in Clinical Operations and Franchise to develop project management plans for trial execution including timelines and milestones for study-specific systems set-up, UAT, maintenance and closeout as required

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in clinical data management
  • Experience with clinical systems (EDC, CTMS, eTMF, IxRS)
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of data and process standards
  • Vendor management experience
  • Regulatory compliance knowledge
