This role is a Lead Consultant in Professional Services for AT&T's Advanced Technology Consulting (ATC) division. The primary focus is on sales and client-facing activities, involving the delivery of design and support services, leading professional services engagements, and interfacing with clients to determine business requirements and propose solutions. The role requires expertise in ITSM transformations, ITIL processes, and the ability to translate assessments into roadmaps. While the company offers various technology solutions, the role itself is centered on sales, consulting, and project management within the ITSM domain, not on building or researching AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deliver design and support services to respective technology customers.
  2. Lead Professional Services engagements in areas of product focus.
  3. Interface with clients and Sales team to determine business requirements of customers and corresponding solutions within AT&T’s capabilities.
  4. Position additional services and products with clients.
  5. Create configurations based on engineering designs.

Skills

Required

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in a consulting capacity, specifically leading large scale ITSM transformations and organizational change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive Maturity Assessments (using CMMI or ITIL Maturity Models) to identify gaps in current state Vs desired future state
  • Ability to translate assessments findings into a multi-year ITSM roadmap, prioritizing quick wins alongside long term structural changes.
  • Experience driving the end to end roll out of ITIL processes (incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge and Service Catalog) across diverse business units, not just IT.
  • Functional knowledge of market leading ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice)
  • KPI Framework - knowledge of designing and implementing KPIs
  • Certification - ITIL V4 specialist or equivalent, COBIT 2019 foundations.
  • Ability to articulate how ITSM solutions will impact and improve business productivity.
  • Excellent written communication skills in terms of documentation and recommendations for clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage clients of varying personalities.
  • Must be able to identify other business opportunities with clients adjacent to core technical skillset.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple simultaneous engagements while keeping customer satisfaction high.
