What you'd actually do

  1. Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future cybersecurity needs
  2. Guides the evaluation of current cybersecurity principals, processes, and controls, and leads the evaluation of new technology using existing standards and frameworks
  3. Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
  4. Development of cybersecurity risk analysis capabilities leveraging modern development practices to improve visualization and communication of risk to stakeholders
  5. Partner with Technology and Business teams to effectively model threats and mitigate risk across your coverage area

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in complex environments
  • Hands-on experience developing risk visualization capabilities
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise level cybersecurity solutions and controls
  • Strong advisory skills with proven experience in ensuring organizations implement secure solutions throughout their lifecycle
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable, in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
  • Understanding of the external threat landscape, threat actors, adversary tactics & techniques, and industry trends

Nice to have

  • Experience with Payments environments including key business processes and technology trends
  • CISSP, CASP+ or equivalent certification
