Lead Dsp Engineer, Ew

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Costa Mesa, CA · Mission Systems : Electromagnetic Warfare Engineering

Lead DSP Engineer role at Anduril, a defense technology company, focusing on optimizing signal processing and machine learning algorithms for deployment on FPGAs and GPUs. The role involves guiding DSP engineers, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on software-defined radios, designing algorithms for RADAR systems, and developing M&S code for testing. Experience with embedded devices, RF systems, and familiarity with deep learning algorithms are required. The role is primarily engineering-focused, contributing to the development of advanced defense systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Guide DSP engineers in the execution of DSP trade studies and optimization of signal processing and machine learning algorithms for deployment on FPGAs and GPUs.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of software and hardware engineers to develop software defined radios; and direct DSP team in the engagement with the software & hardware team, including the implementation of DSP techniques into software and firmware and integration activities.
  3. Design and implement algorithms and techniques for RADAR systems
  4. Develop Modeling and Simulation (M&S) code for RADAR techniques and data analysis including Hardware-in-the Loop / Software-in-the-loop (HIL/SIL) testing
  5. Participate in laboratory and field testing of RF systems and techniques
