GE Healthcare GE Healthcare · Healthcare · Waukesha, WI +1 · Engineering / Technology

Lead Electrical Engineer focused on developing RF electronics for Magnetic Resonance (MR) systems, involving schematic capture, layout, testing, and new product introduction. The role requires expertise in analog design, RF cascade analysis, and signal processing to ensure high-fidelity system performance and image quality.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own schematic capture and layout for circuit boards implementing small-signal RF, high fidelity ADCs/DACs/PLLs, FPGAs/processors, high speed interfaces, various industry standard digital interfaces, power supplies.
  2. Write detailed functional specifications that document newly created designs and support product introduction.
  3. Work with FPGA designer and Firmware Team to define architecture, and support development. Work with related sub-systems (Tx / Rx coil design, power, cooling, etc) to manage interactions.
  4. Lead technical investigations with team to retire technical risks and support field issues.
  5. Test and verify hardware to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements, through bench testing, system integration testing, reliability testing, etc.
