Lead Electrical Systems Architect, Edge Compute and Communications

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Costa Mesa, CA · Connected Warfare

Lead Electrical Systems Architect for defense technology company Anduril, focusing on defining and shaping electrical architecture for advanced defense systems. This role bridges systems engineering and electrical engineering to translate high-level concepts into detailed electrical requirements and architecture for product development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the definition and development of robust, scalable, and maintainable electrical architectures for complex product lines.
  2. Conduct architectural trades, balancing performance, manufacturing feasibility, and future scalability.
  3. Bridge the gap between traditional Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering by translating high-level CONOPS into detailed electrical requirements and functional modules.
  4. Allocate functions to specific electrical modules and subsystems, defining constraints, interfaces, and communications protocols.
  5. Flow module and subsystem information to PCB design and harnessing teams to guide designs in line with the overarching electrical architecture.
