Lead Embedded Linux Engineer - Intercom

Verkada · Enterprise · Bayoffice · Intercoms

Verkada is seeking a Lead Embedded Linux Engineer to build intelligent cloud-managed Intercom systems. This role involves developing the technical architecture for the product line, focusing on delivering best-in-class products and experiences. The engineer will work with firmware, backend, and frontend teams on a product that is described as a startup within a startup.

What you'd actually do

  1. You develop a vision for the future, and set the technical architecture for an entire product line
  2. You think about delivering best-in-class products and experiences - not features
  3. You can take a less-than-fully-fleshed-out product idea and drive it to completion
  4. Self-motivated problem solver: At Verkada, you will tackle large, complex problems with no clear answers.
  5. Teach and learn: You will learn new technologies while being entrusted with the technical ownership of major systems, and we hope to learn something from you in turn.
