This role leads the enterprise messaging platform, focusing on Microsoft Exchange Online, Proofpoint, and Microsoft Purview. It ensures secure, compliant, and highly available messaging services, drives platform modernization, improves customer experience, and strengthens security posture. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership, security and compliance implementation, incident response, vendor management, and automation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end responsibility for the enterprise messaging platform, including Exchange Online and hybrid email environments
  2. Drive configuration, routing, tenant optimization, and platform scalability for global email services
  3. Lead email security capabilities leveraging Proofpoint and Microsoft security tools, including spam filtering, phishing protection, and threat detection
  4. Define and implement messaging security policies, including quarantine, digest, and filtering strategies
  5. Partner with Security to deliver compliance capabilities using Microsoft Purview (e.g., legal hold, retention, data protection)
