Lead Financial Accountant

This role is responsible for maintaining general accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Key responsibilities include managing the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions, as well as performing account reconciliations, ledger close activities, and preparing financial reports. The role also involves reviewing inter-company transactions, ensuring compliance with audit specifications, and participating in the development of internal procedures.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maintain general accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure that proper information is reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  2. As a member of the finance division, you will assist in accounting functions which may include general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions.
  3. Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, analysis, reconciliation and reporting.
  4. Maintain and implement general accounting systems.
  5. Conduct account reconciliation periodically, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision making.
