Lead Global Supply Manager for semiconductors at Rivian, responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and lifecycle management of complex semiconductor components for vehicle programs. This role involves driving competitive bids, negotiating commercial terms, managing supplier relationships, and mitigating supply chain risks to meet cost targets and timelines.

What you'd actually do

  1. Concurrently lead several large projects with medium-high vehicle spend for complex semiconductor components - spanning Processing (MCUs), Power & Analog (SiC/FETs, PMICs, Data Converters), Networking (Ethernet/CAN/SerDes), and Sensors.
  2. Drive the competitive bid process with little to no leadership direction and lead Director-level communications and reviews.
  3. Negotiate most commercial terms with very limited legal involvement.
  4. Maintain strong relationships at the supplier Senior Management level.
  5. Lead large-scale projects with autonomy.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience developing multi-source strategies tailored to specific semiconductor types
  • Understanding of semiconductor should-cost analysis and cost-modeling
  • Expert user of SAP and analytical tools
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to resolve complex problems involving multiple variables and stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience managing board-level semiconductor components
  • Ability to identify should-cost opportunities prior to engaging cost estimation groups
