Lead Industrial Security Specialist responsible for conducting DoD/government inspections and compliance assessments of security programs, interpreting and implementing policy, and assessing Boeing's compliance with security programs. Requires extensive experience in personnel, physical, industrial, information, and communications security.

What you'd actually do

  1. Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  2. Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action
  3. Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  4. Conducts Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (to include inventory, distribution and destruction), in compliance with government regulations/requirements
  5. Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures

Skills

Required

  • Extensive experience conducting DoD / government inspections and compliance assessments of security programs
  • Skilled at interpreting DoD / government policy and how to implement policy requirements
  • Well versed in personnel security, physical security, industrial security, information security, and communications security
  • Experience assessing Boeing’s compliance with security programs
  • Providing recommendations to achieve compliance
  • Obtaining metrics to improve the health of Boeing’s security programs
  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
  • 10+ years of experience in government security
  • 10+ years of experience in security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP) access
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

Nice to have

  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and outlook)
  • Experience with oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to obtain a successful US government polygraph examination
