The Lead Maintenance Planner at Eli Lilly is responsible for improving equipment reliability and productivity by planning and scheduling maintenance activities. This role involves managing work orders, ensuring spare parts availability, coordinating with vendors, and utilizing a CMMS like Maximo. The position is in a manufacturing facility startup environment, with a transition from initial spare parts coordination to full-time planning and scheduling.

What you'd actually do

  1. Improve the productivity, equipment reliability and quality of maintenance by eliminating any potential delays and obstacles through proper planning and scheduling of parts, machine time and maintenance manpower.
  2. Planning and scheduling all non-emergency maintenance work and is the liaison or coordinator between the plant’s customers (production, laboratories, administrative, and utility) and the maintenance organization.
  3. This specific position will begin focused primarily on MRO, spare parts and coordination of spares during facility start up activities.
  4. As the facility becomes operational this role will transition to full time Planning and Scheduling of maintenance activities.
  5. Incorporate HSE (Health, Safety Environmental) standards into all planned work.

Skills

Required

  • HS diploma/GED
  • AS in related curriculum or equivalent experience
  • 3 Years Experience as a Maintenance Craft or Technician
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Nice to have

  • Maximo experience
  • Experience within a regulated industry; FDA regulated industries preferred
  • Experience as a Maintenance Scheduler or Planner in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with tracking purchase orders from generation to invoicing.
  • Organize workload and prioritize tasks while working in an environment that requires teamwork and flexibility
