Lead or Senior Responsible Engineer for the Power Assembly Integrated Product Team (IPT) on the PAC-3 missile program. This role involves technical oversight, risk management, and ensuring the successful design, development, production, and testing of the PAC-3 Power Assembly subsystem to meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements. The position requires leadership of a multidisciplinary engineering team and acting as the technical authority for the assigned subsystem.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establishes a culture of proactive technical oversight, risk management and rapid issue resolution, providing alternative paths for issue resolution and an open dialogue on technical issues
  2. Lead requirement, function, and interface development for the PAC-3 PA subsystem of the seeker
  3. Oversee the design of products provided in support of development, production, and sustainment changes
  4. Present data for the product at Design Reviews, product Acceptance and Qualification Reviews, and Delivery Reviews as required
  5. Guide technical path for product definition and execution

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Proven experience (5+ years) leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team in development or production environments
  • Experience with executing engineering in support of program milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc)
  • Engineering experience on development and production programs
  • Experience supporting or managing engineering release processes
  • Experience mentoring early career engineers
  • Fundamental knowledge in power distribution systems, complex airborne power systems, power amplification systems, and/or Seeker/Radar system power architectures
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Nice to have

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Familiarity with technical proposal development
  • Familiarity with test equipment design and validation
