This role is for a Lead Payroll Analyst at Klaviyo, focusing on global payroll operations across six countries. What you'd actually do

  1. Act as functional lead for international payroll operations across six countries: UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Singapore, and Australia
  2. Own end-to-end payroll processing and sign-off for UK and Ireland, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery every cycle
  3. Lead payroll reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal controls across all pay cycles
  4. Identify and lead initiatives to streamline, automate, and modernize payroll processes
  5. Champion the use of AI tools for data validation, anomaly detection, and payroll reporting insights

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of payroll experience
  • At least 3 years in a multi-country or global payroll environment
  • Deep expertise in UK and/or Ireland payroll
  • Hands-on experience with payroll in at least two of the following: France, Germany, Singapore, Australia
  • Experience providing guidance, review, or informal leadership to other payroll team members
  • Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations, payroll controls, and compliance reporting
  • Proficiency with Workday HCM and/or payroll input workflows
  • Experience with CloudPay or a comparable global payroll aggregator/vendor platform
  • Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and payroll reconciliation
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
