Lead Product Manager for PayPal's Wallets team, responsible for driving growth and strategy across various digital wallets (Pay with PayPal, Pay with Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay) on the Payments Services Provider Platform. The role involves contributing to product strategy, implementing an architectural roadmap that balances innovation with regulatory requirements, enhancing customer experience, and monitoring success metrics. Responsibilities include managing analytics, competitive analysis, product profitability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including data scientists and designers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Inputs to product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders consistent with the shared vision for the product or enabling platform.
  2. Implements the architectural roadmap that balances innovative design and technical implementation, while balancing regulatory requirements, time-to-market, meeting customer needs and product profitability.
  3. Controls for the customer experience and customer needs in product requirements and as an input to decision making.
  4. Monitors metrics that inform the success of products including usability studies, research and market analysis.
  5. Manages one or more workstreams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decision-making.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep payments expertise including pricing mechanics, large enterprise (LE) merchant dynamics, and regulatory constraints across key markets.
  • Demonstrated Payment Service Provider (PSP) knowledge and experience working within or alongside PSP platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with digital wallet products — including Pay with PayPal, Pay with Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and/or Samsung Pay.
  • Clear point of view on how the payments landscape is evolving from both a merchant and consumer perspective, and ability to translate those insights into product strategy.
  • Track record of working across business units to align stakeholders and drive shared outcomes.
