Lead Product Owner for HR Technology focusing on AI, responsible for strategy, backlog, and delivery of HR tech products. This role will identify and scale AI use cases in HR, including workflow automation, digital assistants, knowledge search, and decision support. It involves leading the evaluation and deployment of emerging AI technologies, translating business requirements into AI solution designs, and designing the technical infrastructure for AI applications, including orchestration layers, tool integrations, and data retrieval patterns. Requires strong understanding of LLM capabilities and experience designing Agentic AI applications for HR.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading the evaluation and deployment of emerging AI technologies and frameworks to enhance Caterpillar's agentic capabilities.
  2. Identifying design elements and business requirements and transitioning concepts into workable prototypes
  3. Partner closely with technology and business partners (Ex. Caterpillar IT and HR COEs) throughout the enterprise to develop and/or assist in “buy” decisions for AI technologies for HR
  4. Participating in translating business requirements into AI solution designs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  5. Designing an AI application's technical infrastructure, including orchestration layers, tool integrations, data retrieval patterns, and testing approaches.
