Position Responsibilities:
- Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business units, and senior leaders to define project scope, develop integrated project plans, and ensure timely execution and measurable impact
- Perform studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and inter-dependencies, and lead mitigation or recovery planning as needed
- Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
- Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
- Works with external suppliers to develop project plans and managing the supplier commitments to meet the project milestones.
- Directly responsible and accountable to the Program Manager, manages employees performing program management and integrated planning and scheduling activities.
- Drives execution of all key program management best practices (PMBP) on the program.
- Ensures seamless coordination of deliverables, communication, and PMBP across program teams.
- Prepares, coordinates, and facilitates program execution, manages program baseline and baseline change management processes, risk/issue/opportunity management and program performance management reviews utilizing established metrics.
- Integrates across IPTs and functions by coordinating program level efforts, resolving cross-team issues, and generally insuring overall program performance.
- Maintains program operating rhythm, ensures adherence to Enterprise Gated Process criteria and deliverables, facilitates help needed, root cause corrective action, and lessons learned capture.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Over 12 years directing and delivering projects aligned with stakeholder goals and timelines.
- More than 10 years managing medium-to-high complexity programs involving cross-functional teams (hardware, software, test, suppliers) in avionics or comparable aerospace product development.
- Proven experience executing development and certification activities in compliance with DO-160, MIL-STD-810, DO-254, and DO-178.
- Strong knowledge of project management best practices, processes, and governance in the areas of Scope, Cost, EVM, Schedule, Procurement, Risk management, etc
- Proven experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MS Project, Milestones, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Engineering bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, engineering, or other deliverables.
- Proven ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
- Expertise to determine the processes to be used to accomplish goals, documentation, resource management and Activities.
- Understanding on how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, and simplify complex processes.
- Proficient in Project Management theory, concepts and principles (e.g. theory of constraints, critical path methodology, and project risk management; triple constraints, project scope management, project management lifecycle etc.)
- Should have ability to direct, delegate, and ensure performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks as a project team leader in support of the overall large scale and complex projects.
- Extensive and specialized ability to identify and resolve project related issues and provide solutions and/or
- Recommendations to ensure the successful completion of the project.

- Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.

- Collaborative plans and execute on projects. Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work. Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones
- Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English, and have proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work
- Demonstrated success in managing complex and large projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management best practices and processes
- Demonstrated Knowledge of Agile methodologies in the project management
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO) and other Project Management software
Typical Education/Experience:
- Engineering bachelor’s Degree and an MBA degree from a reputed university is desired.
- PMP, SAFe and other Agile certifications are an added advantage.
