What you'd actually do

  1. Leading multi-functional initiatives to define safety architecture and requirements for autonomous vehicles.
  2. Delivering safety concepts and analysis to enable continuous and safe software deliveries.
  3. Defining and improving safety metrics in collaboration with experts in perception, AI, motion planning, and safety architecture.
  4. Improving processes and tools for safety analysis and data-driven evaluation.
  5. Sharing safety analysis and readiness results with colleagues and management.

Skills

Required

  • MS or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • A structured approach to systems and software development.
  • Proven record of successfully leading multi-functional efforts in architecture, development, or verification.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • ADAS or autonomous vehicle systems or Machine learning and Robotics experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Data science and statistics
  • Worked in V&V of safety-critical systems
  • Knowledge of Sensor technologies, e.g. radar, lidar, camera
  • Experience with system safety methodologies & practices (FMEA, FTA, STPA,..) and safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, UL4600, ISO21448, ISO 8800..)
