This role is for a Lead Sales System Engineer who will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced technical sales solutions for AT&T's sales team, focusing on products and services like cybersecurity, fiber, wireless, cloud, and IoT. The role involves customer consultation, system design, project management, and product demonstrations, requiring strong technical acumen and sales experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and consultation to direct sales teams and customers on the design, customization, and implementation of complex technical products and services.
  2. Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced sales solutions, continuously identifying and implementing process enhancements in collaboration with product architects and the development community.
  3. Ensure product integration, troubleshoot and escalate issues, support sales plans, and provide training to sales teams and customers.
  4. Manage deployment projects, align technical solutions with business goals, and lead technical discussions in client meetings.
  5. Design solutions, support sales presentations, create prototypes, maintain product knowledge, and document systems and processes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired
  • Strong technical acumen in the areas of network, connectivity and value-added services
  • 8+ years of related sales experience
  • Advanced understanding of sales principles, practices, products, and services
  • Manages large, complex sales with light supervision
  • Responsible for higher-than-average sales quota or territory
  • Demonstrates effective communication
  • Advanced data analysis
  • Leverages extensive experience
  • Problem-solving skills
