Lead Security Engineer responsible for developing and deploying secure software solutions, specifically focusing on Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) capabilities within JPMorgan Chase's Cybersecurity Operations. The role involves coding, system design, implementation of security solutions for enterprise-scale deployments, and providing technical leadership to a global team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop secure, high-quality production code, review and debug code written by others, and implement complex business logic using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
  2. Support the engineering and deployment of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, ensuring comprehensive threat detection, prevention, and response capabilities across the enterprise.
  3. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions for enterprise-scale deployments protecting approximately 800,000 endpoints across the firm.
  4. Execute on key deliverables in the security engineering space. Design and develop production deployments with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches in order to deliver technology solutions for key stakeholders.
  5. Serve as a cross-functional contributor across systems engineering, integration, and administration, leveraging deep expertise in Windows and Linux systems internals.
