Boeing is seeking Lead, Senior or Experienced Electronic Systems Design, Integration, Analysis, and Test Engineers for advanced aerospace programs. The role involves translating customer requirements into system architectures, designing hardware and software, and overseeing integration and testing from lab to flight for fighter jets, trainers, and other defense systems. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead requirements decomposition and traceability from customer need to testable design.
  2. Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to contract requirements and customer feedback
  3. Design hardware, software, and interface specifications
  4. Analyze, translate, and implement customer requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle
  5. Defines test and validation approach to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Experience in electronic/electrical system design or test plan development and execution based on requirements

Nice to have

  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • Experience using good communication, analytical, organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience within a design/build or test team
  • Experience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processes
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, system

What the JD emphasized

  • ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Final U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
