Lead Software Engineer role focused on building and enhancing technology products within the Consumer and Community Banking division. Responsibilities include software solution design, development, troubleshooting, creating user interfaces, writing and debugging production code, and leading evaluation sessions for new technologies. Requires extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, Python, cloud technologies, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases, along with Agile methodologies and full SDLC proficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems​
  2. Creating user interfaces and interactive features for web applications using languages and frameworks like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.​
  3. Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others​
  4. Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems​
  5. Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture​
