What you'd actually do

  1. Design, develop, and support multiple Java and React applications on AWS and internal cloud platforms, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability
  2. Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  3. Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others
  4. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
  5. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of coding experience in Java (Spring Boot, Microservices)
  • 2+ years of React development (TypeScript, Redux)
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services
  • Knowledge of EAC (Enterprise Application Configuration) and Terraform for infrastructure as code and environment provisioning
  • Proficiency in GenAI solutions
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies and cross-product team collaboration
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), application resiliency, and security practices
  • Experience with Microservices, API development, and Cloud Technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficient in SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
