Lead Software Engineer responsible for designing and developing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, RESTful services, and data pipelines on AWS. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, working in an agile environment, and leading a team of engineers. Experience with Java, Spring Framework, microservices, AWS, and AEM is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and develop Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, Restful services, Apache Dispatcher configurations, and service integrations with various digital channels of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
  2. Design and develop scalable data pipelines on AWS using services such as S3, Glue, Step Functions, Kinesis, Lambda, EMR, and Amazon Athena while integrating Snowflake for data warehousing to ensure data quality, governance, and optimized performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay up-to-date with industry trends and related technologies such as Apache Spark.
  4. Work in an agile environment and implement test driven development methodologies to create high quality products with minimal or no defects during the testing cycles.
  5. Set the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.

Skills

Required

  • enterprise-level Java applications using the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security
  • Agile software development including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • designing, developing, and deploying microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes
  • designing, developing, and deploying components for AEM
  • designing and deploying applications on AWS using EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, and EMR
  • developing web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and React with a focus on user experience and cross-browser compatibility
  • designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP-based web services including API documentation and versioning
  • writing and executing Junit tests and Component tests using test-driven development practices
  • coordinating user acceptance testing to validate that the software meets business requirements
