What you'd actually do

  1. Own and drive the quality of large‑scale distributed systems and cloud services
  2. Design, develop, review, and maintain robust automation test suites across UI, API, and services
  3. Participate across multiple phases of engineering lifecycle — from early PRDs and design reviews to development, testing, deployment, and production support
  4. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Product, SRE) to understand requirements and define end‑to‑end test strategies
  5. Define and execute E2E functional, regression, integration, performance, and system testing

Skills

Required

  • B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a premier institute
  • 8+ years of experience with API & web applications as Quality & Automation Engineer
  • Strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, TestNG
  • Solid understanding of test design principles and software testing methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, performance, and E2E testing
  • Experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Java for automation development
  • Proficient in creating AI-assisted testing tools and automation accelerators
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, troubleshoot and resolve application and cluster‑level issues
  • Hands-on experience with AWS tools, infra creation, debugging, deployment tools and strategies
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • High sense of ownership, quality perspective, and attention to detail
  • Self-driven and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to have

  • Experience testing real-time systems (WebRTC, media, streaming)
