Salesforce is seeking a Lead Solution Engineer for their Financial Services clients in India. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, craft tailored Salesforce solutions, demonstrate platform capabilities, and build strategic roadmaps. The engineer will support sales cycles, act as a thought leader in digital transformation, and engage with C-level executives. The role requires extensive experience in pre-sales or solution delivery within the financial services industry and expertise in cloud computing and CRM technologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Understand client needs through targeted discovery sessions; craft tailored Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives.
  2. Demonstrate Salesforce capabilities via live demos, prototypes, and presentations to various client personas.
  3. Build and articulate clear customer journey strategies and IT roadmaps, highlighting Salesforce’s value proposition.
  4. Lead cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive solutions and articulate benefits to stakeholders.
  5. Support sales cycles with RFx responses, business cases, ROI analyses, and impactful demos.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years in IT, consulting, or technology sales/implementation
  • Proven experience in pre-sales or solution delivery within Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Fintechs, NBFCs, Wealth/Asset Management)
  • Strong ability to develop and present customer journey maps, use case demos, and solutions aligned with industry needs
  • In-depth understanding of the financial industry's key metrics, customer engagement processes, and ROI justification
  • Expertise in cloud computing, CRM, marketing automation, and related technologies
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with large enterprise clients and engaging at the C-level

Nice to have

  • Salesforce Certifications (e.g., SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, Financial Services Cloud)
  • Prior experience as a Salesforce Solution or Sales Engineer in a CRM or similar tech environment
