Salesforce is seeking a Lead Solution Engineer for the Public Sector in Tokyo, Japan. What you'd actually do

  1. Propose solutions targeting government clients (central government ministries) within the public sector.
  2. Develop solutions and assist in planning systemization with a view to the future, based on customer business challenges and needs.
  3. Create and deliver customized demos to provide a concrete image of solutions for key issues.
  4. Create proposals, focusing on solution design and implementation plans.
  5. Create various sales materials, leveraging know-how gained from proposal activities, including solution maps for each industry, industry-specific demos, and proposal templates.

Skills

Required

  • Experience in the public sector (local governments, central government agencies).
  • Experience in pre-sales for CRM, BI, BPM solutions, or 10+ years of experience in proposal activities, project management, or consulting in similar solution areas.
  • Experience in presentations/demonstrations at seminars and events.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience in government work, internal information systems, resident information systems, welfare systems, etc., within local governments.
  • Experience in solutioning or project delivery on public clouds (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience in proposing, delivering, or consulting on large-scale projects.
  • Experience and knowledge of government procurement.
