Salesforce is seeking a Lead Solution Engineer for their Slack team to help customers reimagine work. This role involves partnering with Account Executives, driving discovery, preparing and delivering presentations, designing Slack-based solutions, and guiding customers through evaluation. The role also includes mentoring other SEs and acting as a liaison between Product, Marketing, and Sales. Familiarity with enterprise SaaS, AI models, and modern workplace environments is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with Account Executives to drive complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles across industries to solve diverse mission-critical business problems
  2. Drive the discovery process, helping to uncover your customer’s current pains and align to their business objectives
  3. Prepare and deliver high impact presentations and demonstrations that tell Slack's differentiated story
  4. Partner with customers to design Slack based solutions that drive value and significant business impact
  5. Ensure that customers understand and are comfortable with how Slack protects organisations with its industry-leading security program. Support security, compliance, and architecture conversations, and help address any technical objections

Skills

Required

  • 5 - 7 years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS or tech-first organization
  • Experience within the following industries; Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy and Utilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a knack for delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
  • A consultative approach with solving your customer’s business challenges
  • Having a track record of successfully overcoming technical and security objections.
  • Extensive Slack experience, including Workflows and Integrations.
  • Business proficiency in English.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt to a rapidly evolving product and market that will define the future of work
  • Knowledge of productivity / collaboration tools landscape
  • Familiarity with the enterprise SaaS ecosystem, AI models and modern workplace environments.
