Lead Statistical Programmer

The Lead Statistical Programmer will be responsible for generating datasets, tables, listings, and graphs from clinical study and Orthopaedics registry sources. This role involves developing and maintaining a macro library, working within company processes, providing oversight of quality review of programming deliverables, and collaborating with Biostatistics, Clinical, and Medical Research partners to develop plans for timely delivery of reports and study deliverables. The role requires designing, implementing, and maintaining complex programming deliverables across a variety of data sources for company products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and maintain a macro library in collaboration with Manager of statistical programming
  2. Work within company processes and procedures for statistical programming
  3. Provide oversight of the quality review of all programming deliverables
  4. Work with Biostatistics, Clinical, and Medical Research partners to develop plans for timely delivery of reports, metrics and study deliverables
  5. Design, implement and maintain complex programming deliverables across a wide variety of data sources for company products

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline
  • 6 years of statistical programming in a regulated environment
  • R programming language
  • Python programming language

Nice to have

  • SAS programming
  • CDISC data standard
  • create high quality programming deliverables for clinical programs, to be delivered on time and in compliance to regulations and SOPs

What the JD emphasized

  • Minimum 6 years of statistical programming in a regulated environment (such as by FDA, FIO, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in R and/or Python programming language
